The free tools pledge
What we promise about every tool on this page, and what happens if we ever break it.
Last updated: 2026-09-22
Every tool at runevr.com/tools is covered by this pledge. It isn't marketing language — it's the set of rules we apply before agreeing to build one at all, and a tool that can't meet all of them doesn't ship.
1. Free forever, and unlimited
Not a trial. Not a free tier with a cap that appears later. No feature is held back to sell you an upgrade, because there is no upgrade. If a tool has a limit, it's one the browser or the platform imposes, and we'll say so plainly on the tool's page rather than let you assume it's ours.
2. No account
Never a signup wall, never an email address to use the thing. You should be able to get value from a tool within seconds of installing it, having told us nothing.
3. Nothing leaves your device
No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reports, no sync. Where we can make this something the platform enforces rather than something we promise, we do — and we tell you how to check it yourself.
If a tool genuinely cannot work without sending something somewhere, we will say so on that tool's page, above the fold, in plain words. So far, none does.
4. No ads, and nothing injected
No advertising, no affiliate links, no content inserted into pages you visit, no notifications you didn't ask for. A free tool that monetises your attention isn't free — it just moves the price somewhere you can't see it.
5. Open, so you don't have to take our word for it
The tools are open source. Every claim above is either visible in the source or asserted by a test you can run. We'd rather be checkable than trusted.
Why we do this
runevr pays for these because we'd like you to know runevr exists. That's the whole deal, and we'd rather say it than have you wonder. runevr is a collaborative workspace built inside a working animation studio — if a free tool of ours is useful to you, that's the entire return we're looking for.
It also means we're not trying to convert you. There's no email capture on these pages, no popup, and nothing that treats you as a lead.
If we ever break this
We'll say so here, on this page, with a date — and for anything already installed, we'll disclose the change directly rather than letting you discover it. A promise amended quietly is not a promise, and it would cost us exactly the thing this page is trying to earn.
